We've been having slightly better success these days.  I am now able to start 
up a 3.3.3 console on a Solaris machine days.  We've been able to start up a 
Solaris-compiled 3.3.3 console, and add non-Solaris machines the the virtual 
machine.  However, it only appears to work properly if I first start the pvmd3 
daemon, on the PVM console's machine, by hand, then start the console.  It isn't
an environment problem; I've made certain that the pvm console starts up the 
same pvmd3 daemon as I do by hand, with the same arguments...

Anyone ever seen this?
