No, it's never been done, but PVM has been ported to Paradise, a
distributed parallel programming system being developed by Perihelion
(the developers of Helios). Paradise will eventually be able to run on
a variety of distributed and multiprocessing platforms, including
networks of transputers running Helios.

Technical reports will be available by ftp in the next couple of 
months, once we have an ftp site...
