Hello there,
at our institute we have one SUN Sparcstation 514 with 4 Processors and
several single processor machines from SGI. When starting pvm and adding,
for example
         sun514
	 sgi1
	 sgi2
there is a total of 6 processors running. How do I guarantee that a program
that wants to spawn 5 other processes uses *ALL* processors, e.g. new
processes are spawned on the additional sun processors instead of having
multiple jobs on the SGI machines ?

I know that you can force a task to go to a specific host when starting it,
but can pvmd do this automatically ? (e.g. KNOW and utilize the other
processors on an MP machine when available ?)

Thanks for any hints,
   R. Kleinrensing
