Hi and hello there !
I hope there is anybody, who can help me.
I use PVM 3.3.3 to run a non-linear optimization problem
using one master with the optimizer program and some slaves
with the simulation of the problem. After starting the
optimizer on the local workstation-net (HP700), the slaves are
called many times and then all processes are killed giving the
following error message on the pvm-console:

pvm> libpvm [t40001]: mxfer() EOF on pvmd sock
libpvm [t40001]: pvm_nrecv(): Can't contact local daemon

Because the shutdown-time of the program is not the same
if I start the same configuration on the same machines twice
(which are nearly free at the weekend), I don't think, it is
a problem of the simulation itself but maybe a failure in
communication.
If there is anybody who had a problem like this and know
about a solution, I will be very happy, because this work
is for my diploma in physics and my time is running out.

Thanks for all, who can help me and excuse my English please.
