POUR CEUX QUI LISENT LE FRANCAIS / FOR THOSE WHO READ FRENCH
============================================================

IDRIS ("Institut du De'veloppement et des Ressources en Informatique
Scientifique"), national supercomputing center of CNRS ("Centre National de la
Recherche Scientifique"), located in Orsay (near Paris) in France, give access
to his training material concerning PVM (manual and exercices).

This material is copyrighted, but of free access. You can use it for your
own education, or to help you to prepare your own training material, but you
are not allowed to reused it or a part of it without citation of institution,
authors and version number.

The manual (slides) has up to now 168 logical pages for 84 physical ones.
It exist in full color version and in mixed version (black and white text and
color graphics).

As IDRIS has no public access (no anonymous ftp server and today only a
private Web server), this material is copied on the anonymous ftp server of
IFREMER ("Institut Francais de Recherches pour l'Exploitation de la Mer") -
thanks to them, and specially to Michel Olagnon.

  Location is: ftp://ftp.ifremer.fr/pub/ifremer/pvm
Read the LISEZ_MOI file for details.

We made recently some changes to remove to the maximun local dependancies,
and to have coherent names files (I hope that we doesn't introduce new
problems!).

All these documents are written in french language.

Of course, comments are welcome to help us to improve them.

P.S. I recall that, since some months, IDRIS give also access on the same
server to his training material concerning Fortran 90 (manual written by
Patrick Corde and Herve Delouis, up to now 227 logical pages for 57 physical
ones). The location is:
ftp://ftp.ifremer.fr/pub/ifremer/fortran90/IDRIS_F90_cours_4.ps.gz

Best regards (and "Happy New Year!" to everybody...).
