Hi:

I would like to install properly pvm3.3.5 on a network of
workstations (mainly Suns). The network has NFS installed and I don't
have the permissions of root or superuser. I notice that the directory
/tmp isn't on NFS, because every time that I run pvm from different
machines pvm creates a file /tmp/pvmtid (i.e the pvm task identification
file). My question is what is the proper way to install pvm on NFS? Must
have I to create a /tmp directory in my home directory and set some
variable on evironment to tell pvm that uses that directory for /tmp?
And another question is which directories must have I to give
permissions in such a way that every user can run my pvm installation
besides ~/pvm3/bin and ~/pvm3/lib?

	Thanks in advance
