Hi,
I'm just learning about PVM. I recently installed it on a multiprocessor
SGI machine. Two initial concerns I'm having until I can find out more
about the SGI Power Challenge and PVM:

The machine architecture var PVM_ARCH was automatically set to SGI64, but
in the ~PVM_ROOT/doc/arches file it lists a SGIMP64 architecture also:

SGI64     Silicon Graphics IRIS OS >= 6.0
SGIMP64 Silicon Graphics IRIS multiprocessor with OS >= 6.0

Since the Power Challenge is running SGI's IRIX Release 6.0, should the
installation been done with SGIMP64 rather than the SGI64?

Secondly, can anyone inform me how to add hte nodes of a multiprocessor to
a virtual machine: i.e. when I run the examples programs, they work, but
run on just one processor!
