Dear netfolx,

in the last few days we got os2 installed and running.
After that we decided to give a chance to pvm on the machine.
As recommended by the author we launched tcpip, emx and finally
pvm3. But, an here it is every time I try to launch pvm or pvmd,
the system says SYS1804: can't find so32dll

I browsed through the entire harddisk, but couldn't find a so32.dll.
The only thing I found was a so32.a (a gnu-lib-archive).

My question now:

Where ist this so32.dll to be found (usually), and whith which package
is it 'shipped' (ftp-site?)?

Is it possible to get a .dll from a .a-file?

any hint, clue, weird or wild guess will be greatfully appreciated,

thanx in advance,

jan.
