Subject: netinput() bogus pkt ????

I am running pvm3.3.4 on an SP1 using ethenet as communication,
(this may not sound sensible, but I am using pvm to let the
SP1 communicate with other machines). After a while the parallel
program hangs in pvm sends and recieves (deadlock) and in the
/tmp/pvml log I get the following messages that I do not understand:

[t80040000] netinput() bogus pkt from 163.1.2.1:53
[t80040000] netinput() bogus pkt from 129.67.1.1:53
[t80040000] netinput() bogus pkt from 129.67.1.180:53
[t80040000] netinput() bogus pkt from 163.1.2.1:53
[t80040000] netinput() bogus pkt from 129.67.1.1:53
[t80040000] netinput() bogus pkt from 129.67.1.180:53
[t80040000] netinput() bogus pkt from 163.1.2.1:53
[t80040000] netinput() bogus pkt from 129.67.1.1:53
[t80040000] netinput() bogus pkt from 129.67.1.180:53
[t80040000] netinput() bogus pkt from 163.1.2.1:53
[t80040000] netinput() bogus pkt from 129.67.1.1:53
[t80040000] netinput() bogus pkt from 129.67.1.180:53

the numbers 163.1.2.1 and 129.67.1.1 are nameservers.
The program runs fine on: Silicon graphics Power Challenge,
network of suns and SGI's.

I would like to know what this message means?

As the programs run on a number of other parallel platforms
I assume this is another example of the ropy IBM SP1 system
(true/false).

Thanks
