I have a problem concerning dynamic configuration using pvm_addhosts:
We are developing a software package with applications which communicate
using pvm, and we would like to install it in such a way that it can be
used by all local users. It is no problem for the package to start up
pvmd for that user if it isn't running yet: in that case, it can just
start up pvmd with its own hostfile with the correct executable-path
settings.
But what if the user has already started pvmd for another program using
his own hostfile? Is it possible to set the host options programmatically?
Does there exist something like a pvm_setoptions function? Or perhaps a
more elaborate pvm_addhosts?

thanx for all hints!
