Has anyone used PVM 3.0+ in a multi-thread environment (under hpux
to be specific). We are going to be using a multi-thread package
together with pvm and thus will need to somehow make pvm
reentrant.

We were thinking of simply placing semaphores around all
calls and around a pvm_initsend(), pack, pack, pack, pvm_send()
sequence. Its not the most efficient solution, but it should work. Has
anyone done something like this or a better solution? Suggestions?

Daniel
