The patches are to be applied to the POVRAY program, available at
ftp.povray.org   They let POVRAY use PVM to parallelize across
workstation clusters, for example.   I already had POVRAY here,
which is reasonably easy to install itself...  applying the pvm
patches was also not too scary.    There is also evidently a
parallel version of the RAYSHADE raytracer called INETRAY I think...
