Hi
	I have a totally Sunny shop. However we are running SunOs 5.x
	on the newer Suns and SunOs 4.1.3 on the older Suns.

	I have the pvm test suite. The Suite passes if I sart it on a
	machine running 4.x, but it fails to start. If I try running it
	from a 5.x host. The error issued is:

		libpvm [t40001]: pvm_addhosts(): Pvmd system error ***
		Unable to reach host in pool: foo ***

	however "rsh foo 'ps -uax | grep user | grep pvm' yields:
		user  5710 2  336  161 ?  S 08:47:49  0:00  \
                /usr/local/pvm3.2.6/lib/SUN4SOL2/pvmd3  \
                -s -d0 -nfoo 1 8174c844:8538 4096 3

	My applications stall when trying to join groups.

	Could some one's system's administrator who is running pvm in a mixed
	environment like mine PLEASE help me out?
	 Let me know what I need to set up in the makefiles.

	BTW: PVM- Parallel Virtual Machine
	   available from Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Oak Ridge TN.
