I don't see your point.

 1) the original author says that the TCP/IP network interface is
    "untested" versus "not working".

 2) the original author clearly states his code is beta and he has 
    not finished implementing/testing features yet.

sounds to me like someone made a *good* first cut at an OS/2 PVM, and
would like some help from some beta testers with access to networked 
OS/2 PCs.

as to what good a stand-alone machine running PVM is, I personally get
lots of work done developing/testing PVM code on my 486 Linux box at
home.  saves me quite a bit of time since i don't have to come into the
university.

really, no flames intended, but why the initial comment?
