I know it's been pointed out in this thread , but to just re-phrase the
question:

1)	Do you *want* to use PVM in Windows?

		or

2)	Do you want to distribute applications involving Windows?

		or

3)	Do you want to use the spare power in your PCs?

The thread has discussed 1) and 2) , but not 3). Has the originator of the
question got the ability to walk upto the PCs and switch their OS?

What about installing just a Linux kernel and the PVM server and
client in a small-ish filesystem in the PC (or NFS mounted from server).

If you are part of a small team and you want to squeeze the *absolute*
last value out of your hardware , then Linux is a good bet. It can sit
harmlessly on the PC coexisting with other OS.
