I appear to have PVM version 3.2.6 running in a heterogenous environnment
including Suns IPXs running SunOS 4.1.3 and SGI Indigos running Irix 4.0.5.
The linux machine is using kernel revision 1.0.8.

Seems to run fine as long as I spawn the tasks from the Linux machine. When
running the xep example program staring from a sun, it had problems with the
linux machine and it always got dropped from the configuation. I haven't
done any more tests with it yet though.

If you get desperate enough, I'll do some more tests though.
