Being a pvm novice, I can't figure out why that when I type "halt"
in my pvm console I'm being given the following message:

libpvm [t40001]: mxfer() EOF on pvmd sock

This wasn't happening when I first installed PVM 3.2.6 last week,
but it's doing it all the time now, even when I just start pvm
and then type "halt" straight away! Looking in /tmp on the host
machine I find:

		/tmp/pvml.562

but even after this has been deleted I get the same problem.

I must emphasise that I'm using PVM 3.2.6 since it's this version that
is required for another application I'm using.

Any help greatly appreciated!

Simon
