Good morning, cyberspace...

Quick and easy question. I would like to have a single PVM on a network of,
say, forty machines. This PVM should be able to be accessed by any user.
With PVM 3.3.x, it would seem that the only thing preventing this is the
"see if you can write to my file in /tmp" so-called security check. If I
remove this check, then anyone can have access to the PVM.

Has anyone tried this? Are there any repercussions that I'm not seeing
(given that we can consider all users to be "trusted")?

Cheers,

Doug
