Yes, it works.  We've been using it here for the better part of a year
now.  You can run PVM on many Paragon nodes, but you can't add the
Paragon to a "network of PVM systems."

The problem wouldn't be something as silly as having NX_DFLT_PART or
similar environment variables defined, would it?  Remember, you have
to specify the number of nodes on which you want the pvmd to run.
