I am experiencing cleanup problems with pvmd3 3.3.0 when I execute a
halt out of the pvm console. When the slave daemons quit they do not
clean up /tmp. They leave the user.user_number file and they leave
the socket pointer open. The result is that after a few runs
the host daemon appears to start the slave daemon but it really
isn't there.

Also I have had some confusing behavior out of the pvm_precv and
pvm_psend interfaces. When I use them sometimes they work and sometime
the hang on the pvm_precv part way through the job. I changed the code
back to initsend-pk-send-recv-upk and I don't seem to have any problems.
Has anybody else seen this behavior? any ideas?
