Dear PVMers

We all know that one of the features of PVM is dynamic process creation. This
allows PVM processes to create more PVM processes at any time during execution of
a program, i.e. we can write dynamic process programs. This also allows us to
write static process programs, where we set up all of our processes at the
beginning of the program, and never create another process.

When I have used PVM it has always been for static process programs. I am
interested to get a feel for what proportions of PVM use are in static process
programs and what proportions are in dynamic process programs. So, if you use
PVM for either static or dynamic process programs, then I'd be real grateful if
you would pop me a wee email letting me know which. I'll post a summary if
there is interest.

If you use PVM for dyanmic process programs then I am interested to know what
kinds of programs and utilisation of dynamic process creation you make. Again
Again I'll post a summary if there is interest.

Happy PVMing
Lyndon
