	Scott,

I don't have an answer for you but I will confirm that we here at the
San Diego Supercomputer Center are indeed seeing the same, or a
very similar problem on our eight node Alpha Farm.

We are running PVM v3.2.6 under the
OSF 2.0 REL 240 Operating System. We did not see this problem with
the prvious version of the OSF OS. We have encountered the
leak with two seperate applications. The diagnosis has been further
complicated here by the fact that the amount of time it takes to
crash depends on whether we use the Gigaswitch interface or the
	ethernet interface for communications.

Is anyone from either DEC or the PVM team looking into this? As it
is we have an 8-node Alpha farm which is pretty much useless.
