When I run pvm applications under DQS, the master pvm daemon spawns all the
slaves on the same host it is runnning on, rather than distributing them to
all the hosts that are available. I have connected through the 'pvm' console
to the pvm daemons that DQS started, then used the 'spawn' console command
to start slaves and it works right, so all the hosts are accessible. If I am
not running under DQS, it also works right. Does anyone know how DQS could
affect the master pvm daemon this way?

The environment: SunOS 4.1.2, pvm 3.2.{5,6}
