I am running a master/slave paradigm on a SUN network
at the moment. What it does is, essentially, to drain
a pool of T tasks into a pool of P processors.

I have now been offered a cluster of HP machines to run the
above (which runs fine on the SUN cluster running
4.1.3, gcc 2.3.1). I would appreciate any feedback on
problems pertaining to the HP's that one needs to watch
out for (and even HP/SUN hybrid clusters).

I have never worked on HP's before so any advice would help.
RSVP by e-mail (preferably), unfortunately the HP have
only gcc 1.39 (unless it has some other inherent HP C-compiler).

Cheers
