Hi PVM users!

o I have developed "A Motif-based Graphical Inteface to PVM, with
Debugging Facilities", called DBPVM. DBPVM version 2.0 is based on
     PVM 3.2.5.

o DBPVM version 2.0 can be obtained by sending mail to kalyan@cc.gatech.edu
with a subject line of "Send dbpvm2.0". This gets you the complete
     release ("dbpvm2.0.tar.Z.uu"), which includes documentation.

o Documentation alone can be obtained by sending mail to the same address
with a subject line of "Send dbpvm.info.ps".

o It is ( in my view, anyway ) easy to use; several options are provided
for customization of interface as well as functionality.

o Some salient features are given below. More details
can be found in the documentation included in the release:

o DBPVM consists of two parts
	  (a) a small set of modifications to PVM, and
	  (b) a Motif-based PVM task called MONITOR.
o PVM applications can be run as usual, as they are run with the usual
	  PVM system.
o The debugging interface is *run-time*.
o Complete control of PVM tasks is provided; tasks can be run alone,
or under the control of appropriate debuggers.
o A run-time log of all PVM library calls that a task makes is
	  provided for each task.
o Tasks can be debugged/controlled either individually or as groups,
much like SPMD mode of execution.
o A graphical interface to the PVM Console is provided.
o A whole bunch of other options are provided.
o Configuration files are provided to allow for individual
customization ( of looks and functionality ).

Just try it out!
