 am in need of some words of wisdom.

I've got the LAM6.0 distribution of MPI, and am trying to run MPI on a cluster
of i586 boxes running Linux 2.0.23 with atm 0.21 (redhat 4.0). The lamd daemon
keeps dying on me for no apparent reason, for example if I try to run the
trivial example from the LAM distribution, it fails to run and the daemon dies
mysteriously.

Also, when trying to run these programs the system tells me that it can't
connect to the daemon, even though the daemon is there. Something to do with
kinit() going pear shaped.

Can anyone suggest anything? Is there a LAM6.1 in the pipeline?
