Two Postdoc/Research Scientist Positions.

As part of a research/development project to build
parallel and distributed programming systems, we are planning
to fill two Postdoc/staff scientist positions.

1. C++/Java Compiler Technology.

The first is for one year and it will involve the
design of compiler technology for C++ and Java libraries
and language extensions. Our emphasis is on high performance
distributed and parallel computation and applications.

2. Computational Cosmology.

The second position is to work with a large team of
people building parallel software for computational
cosmology.  For position a background
in large scale numerical simulation, parallel computation
and C++ programming is required.
Special skills in one or two of these areas may compensate
for weakness in others.

Initially these are 1 year appointments, but a second year
of funding is possible.

The location is Indiana University, Bloomington Indiana.
The pay is not great but better than grad student starvation.
Of course, we are an E.OP. employer.
