A new and comprehensive list of publicly available MPI implementations
has been compiled is now available at http://www.osc.edu/mpi

If you are looking for an MPI solution, either vendor supplied or
from the "public domain", this is the place to find it. Brief
synopsis information is given for each implementation. When available,
a link takes you to the supplier's site.

Our intent is supply as much objective information as possible that
applies to and hence can be used to compare all implementations.
This data will grow as accepted benchmarks, compliance details and
validation suites become available.

In addition to the list of implementations, there is a bibliography of
independent analysis. Unfortunately this is a short list at the
present time. If you publish or otherwise know of a qualifying work,
please send me a reference.

If you have a publicly available implementation that is not on this
list, please send me an entry.

If you maintain or link to an MPI implementation list, I strongly
encourage you to switch to this new list, as it is more complete
than any I have seen elsewhere and we in the MPI community want to
promote the number and variety of implementations as much as possible.
