Nope. That is to say, our implementation and the MPICH implementation are
no longer compatible. Ditto for the Cray implementation, we are currently
unable to interoperate with it. On the other hand, there are suddenly some
very compelling reasons for us to change that...

Dunno about MPICH, it is certainly a multi-platform implementation and so
in theory it should work, but I don't know if it has yet been ported to the
J-series Cray machines.
