I have just installed 'mpich' on my own directory. Because of the very
strange network filing system we have we cannot use 'rsh' command.
Therefore only real solution seems to be a manual startup of mpi server.
According to the "User's Guide for mpich", I have to somehow use
'serv_p4' but there isn't a script called 'serv_p4', and the method
is not very clear. Can someone help me on this?

Is any other implementation of MPI, e.g. chimp, any better on this aspect?
