We are a scientific institute sponsored by the German government.
Our research topic is Cognitive Neuroscience - to find out how
the brain works by using functional methods like fMRI, EEG, MEG
and PET.

We are looking for a person with a sound experience in parallel
programming who will work together with the different scientific
groups in our institute to solve their computational problems.
Emphasis is led on the coordinative character of this job:
to understand a computational problem, to coordinate common needs,
and support for the implementation on our parallel computer.

You should:
- have a PhD in computer science, mathematics or physics
- be interested and open to work in a interdisciplinary context
- have a sound knowledge in parallel programming
- come preferably from a country in the EC (but this job offer is
  generally open to anybody)
- be fluent in English (to communicate with our foreign customers)

The position is open from now on and will be limited for 5 years.
