A major new release of LAM, version 6.0, will soon be available.
The documentation is already completed, so we made it available now
on the LAM Project ftp server (ftp://tbag.osc.edu).

In the LAM 6.0 documentation set, you will find:

* LAM 6.0 Release Notes
* LAM Installation Guide
* "MPI Primer / Developing With LAM" is an 84 page document with
  a 26 page pull-out chapter, "MPI Programming Primer", which is MPI
  portable and can be used with any implementation.
* 85 manual pages detailing 177 LAM system library routines and utilities
* MPI quick reference card (2-sided fold-up, 8.5x11)
* OSC's MPI quick tutorials

Some of this stuff is available on the Web at:
http://www.osc.edu/Lam/lam/lam60-sneak.html

A major new release of XMPI, version 2.0, will accompany LAM 6.0.
We think this is the best tool in the MPI world. Take a peek:
