Hi,

I am currently in the process of distributing an application over
a small network and have done a lot of reading on parallel computing
environments including PVM, Linda, P4, etc. However, all roads seem
to lead to MPI so that is what I am pursuing.

The problem is that there are at least three (that I could find)
implementations of MPI (LAM, MPICH, CHIMP) and one PVM-MPI hybrid(Unify).
Can anyone give me some kind of comparison/contrast of these so I
have a place to start in choosing one.

Thanks
