I'm in the middle of familiarising myself with both MPI and Fortran 90 due to
my varying teaching commitments in respect of both these subjects, and I just
wondered what the plans were (if any) to modify MPI to accomodate F90.

There seems to be a slight contradiction in different documents - the MPI
document seems to say that as F77 is a subset of F90, the existing interface
will continue forward for some time, while some of the F90 documentation I
have seen seems to be written in a spirit which expects that MPI will emerge
fairly quickly with an interface which is quite specifically F90-friendly.

Any of you MPI wizards out there care to comment?

Thanks.
