Hi all,

I have recently attempted to install LAM (Local Area Multicomputer)
on just about every machine I can get my hands on (decs, hps,
suns, sgis, linux boxes, etc...) and, with the exception of
installation under linux, everything compiles and installs perfectly.
However, I have found almost no combinations that work together.
One of the suns can be connected to from any of the others but
cannot connect to anything itself. None of the HPs can boot LAM
at all and my SGI can be connected to by one sun but cannot connect
to anything at all. I have checked my rhosts and have have tested
rsh'ing in every combination and all of the conditions in the man
pages are satisfied. Has anyone had any experience with LAM, or more
specifically, this problem? Is there more documentation that just the
66 page introduction that comes with it?

Thank you very much
