Hi,

Parix is a runtime environment (with an programming interface which looks
a lot like unix). The Parix environment was developed by Parsytec for
their MPP machines. All development tools for Parix run on some host next
to the MPP machine and only the application runs on the MPP machine.

So essentially: Parix is a small kernel with some libraries.
